Course in Electrical Trade Licensing
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This nationally accredited course covers the regulatory inspection and testing requirements to verify that an electrical installation and equipment is safe and the design and installation of low voltage electrical wiring in domestic premises including wiring enclosures, cable support systems, cables and accessories. It encompasses working safely, visual inspections, test procedures and mandatory reporting requirements and terminating cables and connecting wiring at accessories to installation standards.
This course is designed to provide participants who have been advised by the Western Australian Electrical Licensing Board to undergo a competency assessment, with the training, skills and knowledge required to inspect and test an electrical installation and equipment in accordance with regulatory requirements, and the design and installation of low voltage electrical wiring in domestic premises, inclusive of wiring enclosures, cable support systems, cables and accessories.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Applicants must provide a letter of approval from the WA Electrical Licensing Regulator, Building and Energy, and photographic identification.
Fully enclosed shoes must be worn at all times in CET buildings. Safety boots/shoes and long sleeved-shirts and long pants must be worn when working in the workshop.
