Diploma of Building and Construction (Building)
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification reflects the role of individuals in a variety of building and construction job roles. Individuals in these roles carry out moderately complex tasks in a specialist field of expertise that requires building operations skills. They may possess substantial experience in a range of settings but seek to further develop their skills across a wide range of building and construction functions.
You’ll broaden your existing vocational or educational experience and learn about building codes and standards, estimating, site management, OHS policies, contracts, materials, labour scheduling, environmental and small business management.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
All applicants to complete BSKB and must obtain exit level 3 in both literacy and numeracy (working at level 4)., Applicants are required to have successfully completed Year 10 or equivalent, Applicants must be 18 years or over, Completion of the general construction induction training program, specified in the Safe Work Australia model Code of Practice: Construction Work, is required to carry out construction work or attend a construction site. CPCCWHS1001 meets this requirement, CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry (White card) is required for site visits and must be provided at the time of enrolment.
