In the ICT50120 – Diploma of Information Technology (Advanced Networking) students will be trained in the skills and knowledge needed to install and manage networks as an independent IT specialist or as part of a team. Students will learn how to install and administer Linux and Microsoft operating systems. Students will learn about installing and managing Microsoft servers using virtualisation technologies. The course also includes training on managing cyber security.
Students will be provided with access to CISCO Net Academy for an opportunity to prepare Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
