Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)The SHB50216 Diploma of Salon Management is for students who work as supervisors or own a personal service business in the hairdressing and beauty industry. Students learn basic management skills to allow them to understand the operations of a small business.
This qualification reflects the role of supervisor/managers and small business owners of personal services businesses. They are responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operation of the business and for planning, monitoring and evaluating the work of teams. Salon managers also operate with significant autonomy to make strategic business management decisions.
