Diploma of Work Health and Safety
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)The Diploma of Work Health and Safety is an amalgamation of 5 core units and 5 possible electives to cover every nook and corner of workplace safety. Starting from the risk management module, this course will teach you how to lead initial response to and investigate WHS incidents. You will also learn how to manage the WHS system in an organisation along with the development and use of WHS risk management tools.
The possible electives are designed in a way to enhance the skills and knowledge of the participant in order to lead and participate in meetings and make presentations to customers, clients and other key stakeholders. And as you will move forward to finishing up the course, you will learn how to implement initial response to emergency situations and ensure a safe workplace, according to WHS legislative requirements.
