EWP (Scissor Lift)
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This course is designed to provide the participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to operate an elevating work platform (scissor lift) in a safe and competent manner in line with workplace requirements in the building and construction industry.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
- Learners must be able to speak, read and understand basic English to communicate to a safe level.
- Students must be comfortable to work at heights up to 11m (please note – a working at heights ticket is not required in order to complete this course).
- Learners must be a minimum of 18 years to participate.
- Learners must provide photo identification upon enrolment in the course (e.g. driver’s licence; passport or proof of age card).
- Learners must wear personal protective equipment while attending the course including long sleeve shirt, steel capped boots and long trousers.
- Learners must have a unique student identifier (USI) to obtain their nationally accredited certificate or qualification.
