This program will provide you with a body of knowledge in a range of contexts to undertake professional or highly skilled work within the mining industry, such as consultancy, engineering and safety, and will also prepare you for further training.

There are two modules within this program: mining systems and workplace health and safety.

The mining systems component focuses on planning, designing and implementing surface and underground mining methods, whilst workplace health and safety focuses on both the physical and psychosocial work environment.

  • Successful completion of a diploma in Engineering, Science, or equivalent, with an appropriate level of industry experience.
