Install Trench Support

Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)

Designed to meet the national competency standards for installing trench supports.

Intensive full day course covers the skills and knowledge required to install trench support systems to prevent collapses during excavation. It’s critical for maintaining safety when working in trenches for water mains, sewer, drainage, or cabling installation. Trenching is one of the highest-risk activities in civil construction due to potential wall collapse, Workers learn to identify ground conditions, select and install the appropriate shoring or shielding systems, and work in accordance with WHS and trenching codes of practice.
