Lay Pipes
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)The RIICRC208E – Lay pipes unit equips participants with the essential skills and knowledge to safely and effectively lay pipes in civil construction settings. This competency is crucial for professionals involved in water, sewerage, drainage, and other pipeline installation projects.
Participants will learn to select, prepare, lay, join, and inspect pipes in accordance with job specifications and environmental considerations, ensuring compliance with industry standards. This unit is often a pre-condition for participating in ARCUS-accredited water supply works.
