Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)The White Card/General Construction Induction Course is the mandatory work health and safety training required for anyone who wants to work on or enter any active construction and maintenance worksite. You must have it in your possession on site.
The unit requires the person to demonstrate personal awareness and knowledge of health and safety legislative requirements to work safely and prevent injury or harm to self and others. It covers identifying and orally reporting common construction hazards, understanding basic risk control measures, and identifying procedures for responding to potential incidents and emergencies. It also covers correctly selecting and fitting standard personal protective equipment (PPE) used for construction work.

Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
- Students must be at least 13 years old.
- Students must provide 100 points of Identification on the day.
- Students must be able to provide a USI number
