HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting supersedes the now-dated HTLAID004 Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting.

Childcare and education workers or anyone regularly around children and infants will benefit from this course and its targeted approach.

FirstAidPro delivers this course with ALL of the content of HLTAID011 Provide First Aid PLUS common infant and child ailments such as febrile convulsion, fever, vomiting, diarrhoea and dehydration.

Because of its industry-specific approach, HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting, is approved by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA).

It may also contribute to approved first aid, asthma, and anaphylaxis training under the Education and Care Services National Law and the Education and Care Services National Regulations.
