Efficiency Works is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 40575), delivering a range of industry leading training packages for individuals seeking to up-skill and bolster their qualifications.
Our accredited and developmental programs are delivered via a range of formats, including online, on a subject-by-subject basis and through face to face facilitation.
The Competitive Systems and Practices program has been designed to assist Australian organisations become more globally competitive through innovative training and sustainable business outcomes.
The objective of the Competitive Systems and Practices Certificate IV course is to develop student skills to a level where they can apply the individual tools and techniques to their own work, to assist others to apply the tools and techniques to their work and where required to manage the implementation of Competitive Systems and Practices.
This qualification, which provides a mixture of introductory and more advanced skills in Lean Six Sigma, is nationally-accredited under the Australian Skills Quality Authority. Efficiency Works will tailor the training content to client and student requirements.
The competency based training is structured around Lean Six Sigma concepts, coupled with coaching aimed at creating maximum ownership and engagement. Students’ assessments are based on workplace improvement projects that are practical and action-oriented.
The program comprises a combination of units aimed at facilitating behavioural change through the application of specific business improvement techniques, tailored to suit the organisation’s business needs. The candidate assessments are mapped back to the training package and the resultant qualification for successful candidates is a MSS40322 – Certificate IV of Competitive Systems and Practices.

Lean Six Sigma Belts provide recognition for an individual on their awareness and understanding of Lean and Six Sigma concepts. A Belt holder in an organisation can be expected to help achieve higher performance and sustain competitive advantage.
Efficiency Works’ Lean Six Sigma Belts’ program, which is delivered entirely online through our Learning Management System Portal, provides graduated learning of the knowledge components required for Yellow Belts, Green Belts and Black Belts. Belts are a good steppingstone to ‘Competitive Systems and Practices’, the only accredited Lean Six Sigma training recognised in Australia.
Black Belts: Possess a thorough understanding of all aspects of the Lean Six Sigma methodology, tools and frameworks. Lead process improvement projects, provide strategic input to business improvement programs and projects, and guide Green Belts in project delivery.

Green Belts: Work within Lean Six Sigma teams, deliver or lead small projects on their own, help Black Belts apply tools to larger projects, and undertake most of the statistical data collection and Lean tool deployment.

Yellow Belts: Familiar with the fundamental tenets of Lean Six Sigma concepts, an understanding of the overall methodology, basic data collection, the language of hypothesis testing and measurement systems. Typically, Yellow Belts are not regular members of a process improvement team but need to contribute towards Lean Six Sigma projects.
