The HLT42021 Certificate IV in Massage Therapy will provide you with a solid foundation in relaxation massage theory and practice.
You will learn anatomy and physiology, first aid, clinic management skills, and plenty of skills and techniques such as a full-body Swedish massage sequence, Thai massage, Sports massage, Seated massage, Pregnancy, and Special Needs Massage techniques.
This massage therapy course will give you the opportunity to treat the soft tissue of the body, to help clients achieve improved circulation, pain relief, reduced stress and anxiety, assisted recovery from injury, aid sleep and relaxation, and enhanced flexibility. A massage can have an enormous positive impact on a person’s musculoskeletal health and general wellbeing so as a therapist, you can take pride in being able to help others.

The ‘Rehab’ course content adds a number of advanced remedial skill sets and treatment options that will make you a sought-after therapist, by both clients and employers.
Our industry leading ‘Advanced Rehab & Sports’ version includes over 20 additional Special Orthopaedic Tests and an extensive number of other advanced remedial and rehab treatment modalities beyond the Core Skills program. You will also gain a significant number of advanced skills and treatment options from our Myotherapy program so you can also work with athletes to provide pre and post game treatments plus be involved in injury rehabilitation programs.

The upgraded 22656VIC Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy has exciting new content for 2025 and is designed to be delivered in a modular manner with 7 subjects, that can be completed in any sequence (other than the clinic), to offer more flexibility.
The Advanced Diploma program takes 13 months to complete, requiring just 1 contact day per week on-campus (for either lessons or clinic) plus the equivalent of 1 day a week of online study, so it can fit around the busy schedules of working Remedial Therapists.
