TIV’s Certificate III in in Carpentry Course is a popular training alternative to a Carpentry Apprenticeship. It’s a hands-on program designed for people who want to begin a career as a carpenter without doing an apprenticeship. Lots of people from different backgrounds like it because it helps them start successful careers in building and construction.

Course Duration:
- 3 face-to-face classes each week (7.00am – 3.00pm) Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
- The total timetabled sessions including holiday and study breaks is 64 weeks.
- Plus 1 week of additional student support if required.

TIV’s CPC40120 Certificate IV in Building and Construction is an entry level course that will take you through the full construction process from start to finish including building and construction regulations, the planning process, preparing a site and managing a construction site.
Course Highlights

- Online classes and practical activities at simulated and at approved construction sites.
- Develop skills in low rise construction including legislation, operations, quality management, building technology and business management.
- Gain hands-on experience through a blend of theory and practical learning.
- Each student receives resources including National Construction Code books.
Course Duration
- 2 online classes each week (6.00pm to 9.00pm)
- Select options of either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday.
- 4 Compulsory ‘face to face’ Saturday practical site classes from 9:00am-1:00pm.
- 44 weeks to complete the course (inclusive of student support).
