Certificate I in Maritime Operations (Coxswain Grade 2 Near Coastal)
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET) This qualification is designed for individuals currently working in, or seeking to enter, the maritime and seafood industries. It authorises the command of commercial vessels up to 12 metres in length with unlimited outboard or 100kW inboard power, excluding passenger transport. Operations are permitted within sheltered waters, near aquaculture leases, or within 5 nautical miles of the coast. It also allows for service as a tender vessel within 3 nautical miles of a parent craft.Delivery mode
