This qualification provides a pathway for those who wish to work in the community services industry as a first point of contact, meeting the immediate needs of individuals who require care.

This entry-level course provides you with a broad base of skills to respond effectively to the changing needs of clients, policy and service types. You will learn how to support the individual needs of clients, with a focus on cultural competence. Throughout this course, you will learn how to identify the needs of local government and community organisations, and then plan and develop appropriate services and facilities to meet those needs. You will learn how to provide relevant communication, process information, provide administrative support and conduct ethical behaviour.
