Certificate II in EAL (Access)
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This course focuses in advance English language skills in reading, writing, speaking and listening. For students from non-English speaking backgrounds, it will give the knowledge and English language skills needed to undertake further study at an Australian educational institution. Students will read and write extensively. They will learn to use reading strategies, increase their vocabulary, and develop their ideas in writing. Students will become familiar with the cultural norms and practices within Australian academic contexts.

Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
CAC recommends satisfactory completion of an equivalent of Australia year 10.
The recommended entry ISLPR for this course is 2 or IELTS 3.5 or completion of prior EAL learning eg Certificate II in EAL.
