Certificate III in Entrepreneurship and New Business
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification reflects the role of individuals establishing or carrying on business as a sole trader or contractor, as well as those supporting the establishment of a new venture as part of a larger organisation.
These individuals apply a broad range of competencies in varied contexts, using some discretion and judgement and relevant theoretical knowledge. They may provide technical advice and support to a small team.
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who use well-developed skills and a broad knowledge base in a wide variety of contexts and environments. They apply solutions to a defined range of problems, and analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources in relation to a variety of tasks. They may provide guidance to others with some limited responsibility for the output of others.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age and have completed the equivalent of Year 12.
Participate in a course entry interview to determine suitability for the course and student needs.
Have an IELTS* score of 5.5 (test results must be no more than 2 years old). English language competence can also be demonstrated through documented evidence of any of the following: Educated for 5 years in an English speaking country; or Successful completion of an English Placement Test
*Note that other English language tests such as PTE and TOEFL can be accepted. Students are required to provide their results so that it can be confirmed they are equivalent to IELTS 5.5
