Certificate III in Maritime Operations (Marine Engine Driver Grade 2 Near Coastal)
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET) This qualification is designed for individuals working in, or entering, the maritime and seafood sectors. It provides the skills to command commercial vessels up to 12 metres in length, with unlimited outboard or 100kW inboard power, provided no passengers are carried. Holders may operate in sheltered waters, near aquaculture leases, or within 5 nautical miles of the coast. It also permits service as an auxiliary vessel within 3 nautical miles of a parent craft or shore base.Delivery mode
