The Certificate IV in Community Services is suitable for those who already work in the community services sector and wish to build on their skills and knowledge. Participants will learn skills in advanced communication, group work, training, community information provision and program development.
Throughout the course, participants will learn how to design and deliver programs that are accessible and enhance community participation, and develop an understanding of the legal and ethical requirements for working in community services.
As part of this qualification students will undertake a supervised work placement where they will be able to apply the skills and knowledge learned throughout this course.
