Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification builds technical ability in the use of laboratory application software, maintaining and controlling stock, performing chemical tests, and more.
The course is designed to provide in-depth insight into the industry and focuses on promoting methodological competence, preparing students for technical jobs as laboratory personnel, including laboratory technicians, technical assistants, and more.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
- All students must comply with any relevant state government regulations regarding COVID-19 vaccinations that are applicable during their training.
- A general interest in mathematics and chemistry is recommended, and basic computer literacy is advantageous.
- Students must be at least 17 years old to undertake the qualification.
