Diploma of Minerals Processing
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)The Diploma of Surface Minerals Processing (RII50315) if offered by MINRES through a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or Double Diploma option only. The training plan has been aligned to minimum industry requirements and additionally compliments the Diploma of Surface Operations Management. The Double Diploma is contextualised to both coal and metalliferous operations and meets Recognised Standard 22 (RS22) Requirements.
This qualification reflects the role of metal or coal processing facility managers who perform tasks involving a high level of autonomy and requiring the application of significant judgement in planning and determining the selection of equipment/roles/techniques for themselves and others. They are required to demonstrate the application of a broad range of technical, managerial, coordination and planning skills and implement mine management plans.
