Food Safety Supervisor (FSS)
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)From 8 December 2023, a business that is required to appoint a Food Safety Supervisor (FSS) must do so before undertaking high risk food handling.
In the food industry, improper handling can lead to contamination and serious health risks. Understanding the correct procedures and practices is essential, but finding the right training that fits your schedule and learning style can be challenging.
Proper food handling hinges on flexible and engaging education. Whether you prefer online modules or interactive workshops, your training should fit your schedule and style, equipping you with the know-how to confidently meet industry standards.
At Scala, we offer tailored solutions to meet your needs. Choose our online program for flexibility and convenience, or opt for our face-to-face workshop for an engaging and interactive learning experience. Both pathways provide a Statement of Attainment for SIRRFSA001 – Handle food safely in a retail environment, required to maintain compliance with the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code (Standard 3.2.2A) adopted automatically in Tasmania under the Food Act (2003).
