Manage Premises for the Sale, Supply and Service of Liquor
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Management of Licenced Premises (MLP) 2 has been developed to assist WA Licensees and Unrestricted Approved Managers to demonstrate their compliance with the Liquor Control Act 1988 (‘the Act’). It is approved by the WA Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries as an official course for licensees and unrestricted Approved Managers in Western Australia.
This comprehensive course is intended for those who operate licensed premises such as bars, taverns, pubs, nightclubs, hotels, restaurants, special events, liquor stores, etc.
This training provides you, as a licensee or approved manager, with important skills and knowledge about the State’s liquor laws; alcohol and the effects of excessive alcohol intake; how to refuse service and your responsibilities within the Act.
