Provide responsible gambling services (RCG)
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)RCG training is mandatory in NSW if you want to work in any role where your duties involve gaming machines. Gaming machines are allowed in registered clubs and hotels and venue staff have additional responsibilities when operating gaming machines.
Depending on your duties you may also need Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) training. Austrain Academy is an approved provider of NSW RSA & RCG training on behalf of Liquor and Gaming NSW.
Additionally, the new voluntary Advanced Responsible Conduct of Gambling (ARCG) training is recommended for roles with greater gambling-related harm minimisation responsibilities, such as gambling floor managers and supervisors in hotels and clubs, hotel licensees and club secretaries.
