Welcome to Youth Off The Streets, a Registered Training Organisation(RTO # 41450). We are industry experts that live and breathe youth work every day -we bring decades of real-world experience supporting vulnerable and at-risk young people through our schools, housing programs, outreach and youth justice initiatives.
At Youth Off The Streets, completing your CHC40421 Certificate IV in Youth Work isn’t just about getting qualified - it’s about becoming part of the frontline movement changing young lives. The course is designed for people who are passionate about supporting young people to achieve their potential.
All our training is grounded in trauma-informed practice and you will receive expert support from experienced trainers.
We offer two options for the CHC40421 Certificate IV in Youth Work:
- A 12-week Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) pathway, which allows you to turn your experience into a nationally recognised qualification
- A 12-month full qualification, which is designed to equip you with the essential skills and knowledge needed to excel in the field of youth work
Both options are self-directed and online and you can complete them from anywhere at our own pace. However, we recommend spending 10-15 hours on coursework and submitting 1-3 assessments per week.
Youth Off The Streets provides work placement opportunities for students enrolled in this course. Eighty hours of work placement are an essential course component, offering learners the chance to gain hands-on experience in real-world youth work settings.

At Youth Off The Streets, completing your CHC52021 Diploma of Community Services isn’t just about getting qualified - it’s about becoming part of the frontline movement changing people's lives. The course is designed for people who are passionate about supporting people in the community to achieve their potential.

At Youth Off The Streets, completing CHCDFV001 Recognise and Respond Appropriately to Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) isn’t just about getting qualified -it’s about becoming part of the frontline movement protecting and changing people's lives. This unit provides essential skills and knowledge to support individuals affected by DFV and contribute to their safety and wellbeing. All our training is grounded in trauma-informed practice and you will receive expert support from experienced trainers.
CHCDFV001 Recognise and Respond Appropriately to Domestic and Family Violence is designed for individuals working in community services, healthcare or related fields who need to recognise and respond appropriately to DFV. The training is designed to be practical and applicable to real-world scenarios, ensuring that participants can effectively implement their learning in their professional roles. The unit is self-directed and online and you can complete them from anywhere at your own pace. However, we recommend completing it within 30 days.
