Site Senior Executive careers

A Site Senior Executive (SSE) oversees the health and safety of a mine or quarry site. You might work for a resources company, an underground operation, or a large civil project. SSEs establish safety management systems to ensure everyone returns home safely. You will develop emergency plans, manage risks, and ensure operations comply with the Coal Mining Safety and Health Act or state legislation.

SSEs are vital to the Australian resources sector. You must be a decisive leader with high integrity, capable of managing high-pressure environments. You will liaise with regulators and the workforce to foster a safety culture and ensure the site remains productive and compliant.
