Licence to drive a medium rigid vehicle
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET) A motor vehicle (other than a motorcycle) with a GVM greater than 8 tonnes and no more than 2 axles. Able to tow a trailer of no more than 9 tonnes GVM.Delivery mode

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
- Meet the licencing eligibility requirements2 for a Medium Rigid Licence including:
1. Hold, and have held, a current Australian driver’s licence (other than a learner licence) for at least 12 Months
2. Be 19 years or older
3. Evidence from Service Tasmania of successful completion of the required heavy vehicle knowledge test - Provide a valid/current driver’s licence
