Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification is designed to provide students with industry-recognised skills and knowledge to gain trade outcomes as a motor mechanic. Students will learn how to identify automotive faults, carry out diagnostic procedures and inspect and service vehicles and their various mechanical components.
Domestic students can develop their skills through an Australian Apprenticeship arrangement. This includes a mix of on and off-the-job training that will be specified in the Training Plan associated with the Contract of Training between the employer and apprentice.
International students will have the opportunity to complete the program on campus through practical training and assessment and on-the-job placements.
