Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This course provides you with the skills and knowledge required to be able to perform a broad range of tasks on a variety of light vehicles in the automotive service and repair industry.
This qualification will provide you with the skills and knowledge to be competent in a range of Light Vehicle Mechanical roles.
You will gain and apply a broad set of skills and knowledge on a variety of light vehicles in the automotive mechanical service and repair sector. You will be able to repair and maintain cars and light vehicles or particular components of vehicles such as steering and suspension or cooling systems.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
- be employed in the auto industry
- be an Apprentice or Trainee under the Australian Apprenticeship Scheme (AAS) and be registered with an Apprentice Network Provider (ANP) prior to enrolment.
