Apprenticeship Courses
An apprenticeship combines practical on-the-job experience with formal study, leading to a nationally recognised trade qualification. Most commonly associated with the trades — carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and automotive — apprentices are employed by a host employer and paid a wage while they learn. Most apprenticeships take between three and four years to complete and are open to school leavers as well as adults looking to change careers.
