Financial Assistant

A Financial Assistant provides administrative assistance to financial planners, advisors or other professionals providing financial services. You might update financial records for customers or maintain their financial files. A Financial Assistant, or Financial Planning Assistant, may collect financial data using spreadsheets or other financial software. You might also assist with the preparation of financial reports or statements.

Financial Assistants should be highly organised and have strong time management skills. You’ll need to be able to liaise with a range of clients and communicate well with colleagues. It’s important that you have good attention to detail and are familiar with financial systems and procedures. Financial Assistants should be good with numbers and have strong accounting or bookkeeping skills.
