Peer Educator careers

A Peer Educator supports the wellbeing of others by sharing insights from their own lived experience. You might work in a mental health service, community centre, or Recovery College. Peer Educators deliver workshops that promote self-advocacy and personal growth. You will facilitate group discussions and develop resources that empower individuals to manage their own health journey.

Peer Educators are vital in fostering hope and reducing stigma. You will need to be empathetic and approachable, communicating effectively with diverse groups. You will collaborate with staff and community partners to ensure programs remain person-centred and reflect authentic lived experience.
