The CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care is a  nationally recognised qualification leading to a career as an Early Childhood Educator working in ACEQA regulated children’s education and care (“childcare”) services in Australia. Early childhood educators work in long day care centres, family day care, pre-schools or kindergartens.

These roles typically support children’s wellbeing, and development in the context of an approved learning framework. Educators use a range of well-developed skills and knowledge using discretion and judgment when carrying out their work in the context of established policies and procedures. They may work independently or under the guidance of others.

The Certificate iv in Leadership and Management is not available for individual public bookings.

The BSB42015 Certificate IV in Leadership and Management is a highly sought after qualification for individuals working as developing and emerging leaders and managers.

This course will teach you how to take on responsibility as an individual as well as provide leadership and guidance to support others. Learn how to apply solutions to a defined range of problems and analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources while monitoring the output of their team.

This qualification reflects the role of educators in early childhood education and care who work in regulated children’s education and care services in Australia. Educators at this level are responsible for designing and implementing curriculum that meets the requirements of an approved learning framework and for maintaining compliance in other areas of service operations. They use specialised knowledge and analyse and apply theoretical concepts to diverse work situations. They may have responsibility for supervision of volunteers or other educators.

The BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management is a highly sought after qualification designed to develop your leadership skills to management level. This course will assist you to develop initiative and judgement in planning, organising, and monitoring employee’s workloads as well as your own.

You will learn to communicate and support individuals and teams to meet organisational or enterprise requirements and strategies. Learn to identify, analyse and synthesise from a variety of sources and transfer their knowledge to others.

Unfortunately, Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) across Victoria have been impacted by the Governments decision to cut funding allocation. As a result of these funding reductions Skills First funding has unfortunately now been exhausted and a result we are no longer able to deliver the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment course in 2025.

First Aid Level 2 (HLTAID011 Provide First Aid) Training and re-accreditation for all workplaces, including primary and secondary schools, will be provided using the mixed mode format. This format requires participants to complete a workbook theory component prior to attendance of the one day practical session. This workbook is provided to the students by MSA Training and Professional Development. Students will be assessed on a combination of practical activities, a written assessment and on the completion of the workbook theory component.

First Aid Level 1 (HLTAID010 Provide basic emergency life support) training and re accreditation will be provided by the mixed mode format. This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to recognise and respond to life-threatening emergencies in line with first aid guidelines determined by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and other Australian national peak clinical bodies.

This unit applies to all persons who may be required to provide an emergency response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings. The ability to perform first aid is an essential life skill that can sometimes mean the difference between life and death. First aid skills are also often required across a range of workplaces. Basic first aid training allows you to perform critical tasks such as CPR, wound care and allergic reaction response.

First Aid, Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid CPR reaccreditation – Learn the theory and practical skills to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies. Includes practise on resuscitation manikins to build skills and confidence. No pre course reading is required for this course.

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines. This unit applies to all persons who may be required to provide CPR, in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.

This course First Aid for Educators (Provide First Aid in an education and care setting) applies ONLY to educators and support staff working within an early education and child care setting, who are required to respond to first aid emergencies, asthmatic and anaphylactic emergencies. Students will be assessed on a combination of practical activities and on the completion of the workbook theory component.

Upon successful completion, participants will be awarded a Statement of Attainment for the following unit of competency: HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an Education Care Setting, HLTAID010 Provide basic emergency life support and HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation

This skill set provides the necessary skills and knowledge for people to conduct assessment and operate without supervision in the vocational education and training (VET) sector, in accordance with the Standards for RTOs.

In the Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) course you will gain the skills required to serve alcohol in a responsible manner, ensuring compliance with relevant liquor legislation. Explains the problems associated with excessive alcohol consumption and provides strategies to refuse service and prevent problems before they occur. All participants receive a manual.

Students successfully completing the Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) course will receive two certificates. One is issued by the Victorian Liquor Commission (VLC). and is valid in Victoria. The other certificate is for the unit of competency SITHFAB021 and this is nationally recognised.

This Food Safety course (SITXFSA005 Use Hygienic Practices for Food Safety) is suitable for all food handlers in the hospitality industry. Preparing and handling food hygienically is essential for ensuring food is safe to eat. An understanding of hygienic practices ensures both personal and food hygiene is observed in food handling. These practices prevent food poisoning from occurring and are essential for any role working with or near food.

The Certificate III in School Based Education Support qualification reflects the role of workers who assist teachers and support student learning in a range of classroom settings. They complete general administrative as well as operational tasks to support students with learning under the guidance of a teacher or other educational professional. Work requires use of discretion and judgement within the boundaries of established policies and procedures.

Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry, also known as the “White Card” course for Victoria, is designed to give you essential knowledge and skills to safely navigate construction environments. It is mandatory for all job roles on construction sites.

This skill set addresses the skills and knowledge required to plan, organise and facilitate online learning and assess competence across various electronic applications and communication channels. It involves gathering evidence using both synchronous and asynchronous assessment methods, and making judgements on the outcomes of the online assessment using a range of devices and digital tools.

This skill set provides the necessary skills and knowledge for people facilitating training under supervision in the vocational education and training (VET) sector, who deliver via a face-to-face and in-person delivery model.

This is a newly created skill set that is for individuals who are existing secondary school teachers who hold a Bachelor of Education degree or higher, who require VET- specific knowledge and skills.

This skill set is for volunteers who deliver training to other volunteers in the workplace and those working in non-accredited delivery. This training is designed to support the essential skills of volunteer trainers, such as in emergency service organisations. The role may involve some coaching at individual or small group level.

This skill set provides the necessary skills and knowledge for those who facilitate and conduct work-skill instruction whilst delivering nationally recognised training under supervision in the vocational education and training (VET) sector.
