About Fee Free Training (QLD)

Fee Free Training for Year 12 Graduates enables eligible Year 12 graduates to access fee-free apprenticeships, traineeships and training in high priority areas. The Queensland government provides subsidised training within the calendar year after graduating from high school.

More About the Fee Free Training for Year 12 Graduates

The Fee Free Training for Year 12 Graduates focuses on high priority qualifications across a range of industries. High priority qualifications provide training in the skills most needed by employers and industry across Queensland.

Students graduating from Year 12 need to enrol and start training in a high priority qualification by the end of the calendar year after finishing Year 12. Students are encouraged to thoroughly research their training course and provider as fees are only free in high priority industries and arrangements may vary. Students should also note that undertaking the training may exhaust their entitlement to further Queensland Government subsidised training.
